IT Support Officer – Technical Operations & User Support
We are seeking a proactive IT Support Officer to manage our office technology and provide technical assistance to our staff. Key Responsibilities: Hardware & Software: Install, configure, and maintain laptops, printers, and company software to ensure they are ready for use. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve common issues with internet connectivity, operating systems, and peripherals. User Support: Act as the first point of contact for staff technical queries via phone, email, or in-person. Security & Maintenance: Manage user accounts/permissions and perform regular system backups and security updates. Inventory: Maintain an accurate record of all company IT assets and software licenses. Requirements: Degree or HND in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a similar IT support role. Professional certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+ or Network+) are a strong advantage. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
